DIRECTV is apparently working on a new TV show called Football Cops, an action-packed drama about two former pro football players (Peyton and Eli Manning) who bring their unique brand of law enforcement to one of the country’s toughest neighborhoods.

Is Football Cops television’s next great drama? Will you be watching? If this is what a potential Football strike generates, perhaps I should just be happy about seeing The Amazing Race delayed by an hour!

OK, I take back my initial comments–from the trailer, this looks like it could be a lot of fun–sort of like The Good Guys. It is not a drama as it was first described.
