Then we headed through the St. Louis Arch and outside to see the town of Defiance. The streets of this town are littered with everything imaginable as people scrounge for whatever they can find to build their homes. We could also see some vehicles and the various shop facades.

During the tour, we had to quietly hold up in the jail for about 10 minutes while they filmed a scene out on the street. Then we continued our journey through the streets of Defiance and into medical lab.

It was amazing to see how much detail was put into every set. Even though the buildings are only a couple levels, and really close together, we were told that digital effects are added later to extend the buildings and provide a more expansive look to the town.
