I’m really excited for the return of The Flash tonight. In this era of the dark, brooding superhero, it was great to see this series take the opposite approach and just have fun. When the first season left off, Wells had given Barry Allen the chance to go back in time to prevent his mother’s murder. While Barry debated the pros and cons of this unique opportunity, Caitlin and Ronnie got married, with their wedding officiated by Doctor Stein. Ultimately, Barry did go back in time, but just to say good-bye, instead of messing with the unknown consequences of changing the past. However, his trip caused a dangerous wormhole to appear. …
