(October 22, 2015 – Toronto, Canada) Remotely Girly, the first exclusively female-themed, critic-hosted TV review podcast announces its official launch today with a special episode featuring the premiere of Global’s Supergirl.  Remotely Girly is a new podcast that offers a female perspective on the landscape of TV, with a focus ranging from the strong female characters dominating the small screen to women in the industry working behind-the-scenes. Whether it’s plot twists, character developments, casting news or off-camera antics,Remotely Girly is like talking to friends who, like you, love TV. Remotely Girly is hosted by Amber Dowling, President of the Television Critics Association and creator of TV Junkies; Emily Gagne, Managing Editor and Co-Founder of Cinefilles and freelance writer; and Melissa Girimonte, Founder & Editor in Chief of The Televixen.Remotely Girly was created and is produced by Amber, Emily, and Melissa.
