I’m really excited for the return of Brooklyn Nine-Nine tonight, which heads back to Tuesday nights for its fourth season. Last season, the Nine-Nine was trying to track down Jimmy “The Butcher” Figgis. Amy even went undercover as a prisoner (and Jake as an OBGYN) in a women’s prison in order to try to get close to Figgis’ sister. However, Figgis had managed to turn an FBI agent working on the case, and then threatened the lives of Jake and Captain Holt. So the two were put in a witness protection program and sent to Coral Palms, Florida, without any contact with their loved ones—just as things were going really well between Jake and Amy! As the fourth season picks up, we get to see the hilarious new lives that “Greg” (Holt) and “Larry” (Jake) have made for themselves while awaiting Figgis’ capture…
