Tonight, TBS is airing a sneak preview of its new comedy, People of Earth. The series centers around the small town of Beacon and a support group for alien abductees. Leading the group is part-time therapist Gina Morrison (Ana Gasteyer, Saturday Night Live), who rents the space in Our Lady of Sorrows from Father Doug (Oscar Nuñez, The Office). As skeptical journalist Ozzie Graham (Wyatt Cenac, The Daily Show) investigates the participants’ seemingly-ludicrous accounts, he realizes he may actually be an abductee himself, and so he decides to join the group as well. The series comes from David Jenkins, Greg Daniels (The Office), and Conan O’Brien.
