Tonight, Life in Pieces returns to CBS to kick off its second season. As the first season ended, the series dropped a lot of bombshells. Tommy’s attempt to propose to Colleen kept getting interrupted by other family announcements. First Joan and John got re-engaged after being secretly divorced for decades (long enough to make Greg a bastard, which his siblings had a field day with). The interruptions continued with Greg announcing that he lost his job, followed by teenager Tyler announcing he and Clementine were married. And so Tommy finally just proposed to Colleen in his parents’ bathroom…
