Tonight I’m really looking forward to the return of ABC’s 2-hour Tuesday comedy block! On the last episode of The Middle, Sue was getting increasingly stressed out trying to keep the secret that Axl and April had eloped. Axl wasn’t even sure why he got married–except for the fact that it would upset his mother if/when she found out. Sue’s conscience was finally freed when April’s parents called to discuss the news, and needless to say, Frankie was livid–both at the fact that Axl had gotten married and that she hadn’t been invited. Meanwhile, Mike was both relieved that Axl didn’t get married because he “had to”, but also upset that his son had no good (or any) reason for doing so. In the end, the newlyweds got an annulment, but immediately afterwords headed out on a date…
