Tonight, Comedy Central launches the new comedy Detroiters, from executive producers Lorne Michaels and Jason Sudeikis. Hank Cramblin was a legend in the Detroit advertising business before he went crazy and quit, along with all his employees and their clients. Hank’s son Tim (Tim Robinson, Saturday Night Live) and best friend Sam (Sam Richardson, Veep) have taken over the business but are struggling to land clients. The guys are well-meaning, fast-talking, and personable but just aren’t that creative, are easily distracted, and come off a bit needy at their pitches. The only employee still with the firm is Hank’s senile old receptionist, Sheila (Pat Vern Harris), who is constantly awkwardly flirting with Tim, mistaking him for his father. The guys have also hired film school student Lea (Lailani Ledesma) as their assistant, who has a very unique vision and style when it comes to putting together TV commercials
