Tonight the third/final season of the AT&T/DirecTV original series Kingdom kicks off on Audience. I don’t have DirecTV or AT&T U-verse, but recently caught up on the first two seasons via DVD (which is available next Tuesday at Walmart). I had always assumed this was a show just about MMA fighting, but was pleased to discover that it is so much more than that. The fights, while realistically brutal to watch, are just a small piece of the series—it is much more of a family drama, following the lives of those who work and train in the Navy Street Gym in Venice, CA.
