Owners of the 4th generation Apple TV will finally be able to watch their UltraViolet TV & Movie collections directly on their Apple TV devices without the need for Airplay! Similar to the iOS app, you won’t be able to purchase titles directly from the newly-released Vudu Player app for the Apple TV—this must be done via the web (otherwise Vudu would have to give a cut of their sales to Apple). However, I have no problem with this as I mainly use the app to access my UV collection. I am thrilled that this is finally coming to the Apple TV, and I can’t wait to add the new app to my device!
