Primetime Picks… 3/6/18

Tonight the first season of ABC’s Kevin (Probably) Saves The World comes to a close. Last week Kevin felt guilty that his big prank may have been the reason the high school’s security guard, Becky, was fired. He aided her in pursuing her true passion of being an inventor by helping her build a machine that created pasta out of ham, but her demonstration of the invention at a local entrepreneur expo fails miserably. However, all had not failed because it seemed like Tyler and Becky really hit it off. Meanwhile, Amy heard strange noises in the house, and assumed there was some sort of animal loose, so she fitted the house with cameras. Yvette continued to experience mishaps, and had to come clean with Kevin about Dave’s disappearance. Later, Amy and Reese were watching some of their camera footage and were shocked to discover Kevin speaking with the ghostly Yvette.

How will Amy and Reese react to what they saw, and will they figure out the truth? Why is Yvette losing her powers, and can something be done to fix it? What has really happened to Dave and will he ever return? And will Kevin ever find another member of the Righteous, let alone all of them?! While I really enjoy the week-to-week missions Kevin finds himself faced with, the overall story of the Righteous has been moving at a snail’s pace. If Kevin only manages to find one person a season, he will never complete his goal before the series ends! The series has yet to be renewed, so I really hope we get some answers and see some progress with Kevin’s mission in tonight’s season finale!

In tonight’s season finale, “The Right Thing”, Kevin struggles with the idea that his relationship with Kristin might be in jeopardy while helping a stranger honor his deceased uncle’s burial wishes. Yvette makes a drastic decision regarding her future with Kevin by involving a celestial colleague named Cindy; and Amy receives an unexpected visit that changes everything.

Tonight I’ll also be watching/recording This Is Us, LA to Vegas, The Mick, The Flash, Black Lightning, and The Detour.
