Primetime Picks… 3/29/18

I’m a couple seasons behind on Supernatural, but I’ve been looking forward to tonight’s episode ever since it was first announced at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. My favorite episodes of the show have always been the crazy, meta episodes where the writers just have fun, and don’t get bogged down in the ongoing mythology of the series. Tonight’s episode definitely looks like one of these, as it finds Castiel and the Winchester brothers being sucked into a TV and becoming part of a Scooby-Doo cartoon/mystery. Zoinks!

I was a big fan of Scooby-Doo growing up. That series also has a lot of self-aware humor, and enjoys pairing up the Scooby gang with unusual partners—I mean, they teamed up with KISS! So this seems like a destined, perfect pairing, and I can’t wait to check it out.

In tonight’s episode, “Supernatural”, Sam, Dean and Castiel are transported into the animated world of Scooby Doo; they join forces with the Scooby gang to solve a ghostly mystery.

Tonight I’ll also be watching/recording Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Life in Pieces, Superstore, A.P. Bio, Will & Grace, Champions, Gotham, and Siren.

For additional suggestions on what to check out tonight, including Chicago Fire and Station 19, check out the If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/29/18 post at TVisMyPacifier.com.
