The Goldbergs is always one of the shows I watch first on Wednesday nights…it never sits around on my TiVo for long! Last week Erica decided to get a job at a karaoke bar in order to get some time to sing in front of an audience. Murray was thrilled just to hear Erica was going to be working, it didn’t matter what the job was, but once Beverly heard it was at a karaoke bar, she was excited to bring all her gal pals there to sing. Erica quickly demanded that her mother not visit her at work, and Beverly reluctantly agreed. But when Erica’s boss (a fun cameo by Rick Springfield) told her that she could get more singing time if she brought in more people, she lifted her restriction. She ultimately ended up enjoying singing with her mother. Meanwhile, Murray tried to teach Barry and Lainey how to be financially responsible adults. To balance tings out, Barry tried to be the saver while he let Lainey be the spender, but this backfired quickly, and eventually Murray encouraged the couple to just enjoy themselves.

In tonight’s episode, “Hersheypark, Adam discovers Beverly has been manipulating him; after attending Career Night, Geoff realizes he doesn’t want to be an eye doctor like his father.

Tonight I’ll also be watching/recording American Housewife, Modern Family, Single Parents, A Million Little Things, Survivor, Riverdale, All American, and American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
