Primetime Picks… 6/25/19

Tonight CBS kicks off the 21st season of Big Brother as 16 new houseguests enter the Big Brother house, to have cameras watch their every move 24 hours a day for 3 months, as they try to be the last remaining houseguest, and take home the $500K prize! Besides the one token 53-year-old, all of this year’s contestants are under 32, with the majority in their 20s, so its a relatively young group this time around. Among them are a college soccer star, a boutique owner, a petroleum engineer, a photographer, a wine safari guide (and ex-girlfriend of The Bachelor: Winter Games villain Luke Pell), a public health analyst, a fitness trainer, a server, a model, a digital marketing executive, a marketing strategist, a therapist, a preschool aide, a college student, a truck driver, and a Broadway dancer.

Julie Chen Moonves once again returns to host the series. She always tells viewers to expect the unexpected, and this season, the house is getting a great outdoors makeover, with a new look inspired by a summer camp. However, I’m sure there will be a lot more twists to come this season, and I look forward to seeing the game play out.

Tonight I’ll also be watching/recording The Detour and Animal Kingdom.
