Corner Gas creator/star Brent Butt announced today that the Canadian comedy series, its feature film and animated spin-off series will all be available to United States viewers starting October 15 via IMDb TV. This is the first time that US audiences will be able to watch Corner Gas Animated. The announcement can be found below.

Brent, David, and Virginia here – the Corner Gas executive producers. We’ve got some exciting news to share and we wanted to reach out to you directly.

Since Corner Gas Animated launched in Canada just over two years ago, and especially since Corner Gas the live action sitcom and movie started streaming on Prime Video, we’ve had people asking again and again when Corner Gas Animated would be available in the United States. We said we were working on it, but haven’t been able to give you an answer… until now!

As a Canadian Thanksgiving present to our neighbours in the US, starting October 15, Corner Gas Animated will be streaming exclusively in the US on IMDB TV as an IMDb Original. Better yet, all 107 episodes of Corner Gas and Corner Gas: The Movie are moving to IMDb TV too to keep the entire brand in one place! And best of all, it’s all free to watch for all Americans. Yup, totally free.

It’s thanks to our fans on both sides of the Canada-US border that this has happened, along with our beloved fans around the world.

Corner Gas fans, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the most enthusiastic in the world. We’ve seen it first-hand for over a decade. When Corner Gas first launched in Canada, you crashed our website, you turned our set in Rouleau Saskatchewan into a tourist destination, you brought us into your homes and have treated us like family ever since.

You told friends to watch the show, you binged it, you watched your favourite episodes over and over and over – and you were loud about wanting more of it. Because of you, we made Corner Gas: The Movie; because of you, we were inspired to make Corner Gas Animated; and because of you, now the entire Corner Gas brand is available exclusively in Canada on CTV Comedy, CTV Throwback, and Crave TV, and will soon be available exclusively in the United States on IMDb TV. And for our friends outside of North America, the live action sitcom and movie are available on Prime Video.
