New to Prime Video in November

November brings new Amazon Original Movies and Series including The Pack, an adventure reality series comprised of 12 teams of dogs and their human companions, hosted by Gold Medalist skier Lindsey Vonn and her dog Lucy; James May: Oh Cook, a cooking series from the perspective of someone who can’t really cook; Small Axe, an anthology comprised of five original films set in London’s West Indian community; Uncle Frank, a family comedy-drama originally premiered at Sundance Film Festival; and Ferro, a docu-series following Italian singer Tiziano Ferro. And you don’t want to miss Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, the follow-up to Sacha Baron Cohen’s 2006 comedy, streaming on October 23.

Also be sure to catch Alex Rider, the first original series from IMDb TV, Amazon’s free streaming service. This spy-thriller is based on the global phenomenon book franchise by Anthony Horowitz and premieres on November 13.

Prime members can also enjoy movies new to Prime including Bombshell (2019), starring Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie in the story of the fall of Fox News head Roger Ailes; The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020) based on the best-selling book by Rhonda Byrne and starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas; Wall Street (1987), directed by Oliver Stone and starring Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen; As Good As It Gets (1997), the off-beat comedy starring Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and Greg Kinnear; Water For Elephants (2011), based on Sara Gruen’s 2006 novel of the same name and starring Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz; along with action-packed fan favorite films from The Expendables (2010) and Underworld (2003) movie franchises.

The new month also brings the launch of new language options, including English, for Academy Award® winner Armando Bo’s El Presidente. Starring How to Get Away with Murder’s Karla Souza, along with Andrés Parra and Paulina Gaitán, this sharp satire of “FIFA Gate” explores the sports scandal that rocked the world through the story of Sergio Jadue, a small‐time Chilean football club president who rose from obscurity to become a key player in a $150MM bribery conspiracy at the hand of the infamous president of the Argentine football association, Julio Grondona. Launches November 6 in seven additional languages, including English. Available now in Spanish with more than 25 different subtitle options.

New Originals:

  • Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Available in HDR. Streaming October 23.
  • FERRO is an intense and powerful journey inside the private and professional life of Tiziano Ferro, one of the most famous contemporary Italian singers. Set between Italy and the U.S., the film will take the audience on a journey to meet the person behind the spotlight, showcasing highs, lows and challenges from the artist’s perspective after twenty years in the business. Excited to thrill his fans with his amazing ability to empathize with his audience, viewers will be given the chance to experience Tiziano Ferro’s world, in a journey that is both moving and delicate, looking at his successes, falls, tears and smiles.   • Small Axe is an anthology comprised of five original films set from the late 1960s to the mid 1980s that tell personal stories from London’s West Indian community, whose lives have been shaped by their own force of will despite rampant racism and discrimination. This title is derived from the African proverb, “If you are the big tree, we are the small axe.” Streaming November 20, with new films premiering each Friday through December 18
  • In The Pack, 12 teams of dogs and their human companions go on a global adventure and compete in fun and exciting challenges celebrating their incredible bond. At stake is a life-changing $750,000 for the winning duo and their charity, $500,000 to the winners plus an additional $250,000 prize amount for the animal charity of their choice. The Pack is hosted by Gold Medalist skier Lindsey Vonn and her dog Lucy. Streaming November 20
  • Set in 1973, Uncle Frank (2020) follows Frank Bledsoe (Paul Bettany) and his 18-year-old niece Beth (Sophia Lillis) on a road trip from Manhattan to Creekville, South Carolina for the family patriarch’s funeral.
