Live Sports – Major League Baseball
Major League Baseball is back on April 1 and with it comes the return of MLB.TV, which is once again available via Prime Video Channels, letting fans stream regular season out-of-market baseball games live and on-demand. After a 7-day free trial, Prime members in the U.S. can subscribe to MLB.TV for $24.99/month for access to all out-of-market games, $109.99/year for all of a single teams’ out-of-market games, or $129.99/year for all out-of-market games.

Here’s what’s new on Prime Video in April
April brings new Amazon Original Movies and Series including Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, an action thriller starring Michael B. Jordan; THEM, a limited anthology series that explores terror in America produced by Lena Waithe; and Frank of Ireland, a new comedy series starring and written by brothers Brian and Domhnall Gleeson.

Prime members can also enjoy movies and shows new to Prime including Unhinged (2020), an action thriller starring Russell Crowe; Spontaneous (2020), a dark comedy starring Katherine Langford and Charlie Plummer; and Wander (2020), an edge-of-your-seat thriller starring Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart. Along with hilarious comedies from the “aughts” you may have forgotten about, such as, Brüno (2009) starring Sacha Baron Cohen as his Austrian TV reporter persona; Evan Almighty (2007), starring Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman; Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) starring Jason Segal and Kristen Bell; and Johnny English (2003), the James Bond spoof starring Rowan Atkinson.

New Originals:

  • THEM is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The first season, set in the 1950’s, centers a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them. Available in UHD and HDR. Streaming April 9
  • An elite Navy SEAL uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, the explosive origin story of action hero John Clark – one of the most popular characters in author Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe. Available in HDR. Streaming April 30
  • Frank of Ireland follows Frank, a 33-year-old catastrophe and misanthropic fantasist in arrested development who’s convinced that the world owes him. He’s also our hero. He has a tenuous hold on reality, a single room in his mother’s home, an ex he can’t get over and a loyal best friend, Doofus. This is the hilarious story of a man’s hapless search for respect. We don’t want him to succeed, but it’s fun to watch him try. Streaming April 2021

  • Brüno (2009) – Sacha Baron Cohen plays a gay, Austrian TV reporter who worms his way into celebrity hot spots and interviews unsuspecting guests about topics such as fashion, entertainment, celebrities and homosexuality. Streaming April 1
  • Evan Almighty (2007) – Everyone’s favorite funnyman Steve Carell is at his hilarious best as junior congressman Evan Baxter, whose wish to “change the world” is heard by none other than God. When God appears with the perplexing request to build an ark, Evan is sure he is losing it. Streaming April 1
  • Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) – Struggling musician Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) is better-known as the boyfriend of TV star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). After she unceremoniously dumps him, he feels lost and alone but makes a last-ditch bid to get over it by going to Hawaii. However, she and her new boyfriend (Russell Brand) are there in the same hotel. Streaming April 1
  • Johnny English (2003) – Riotous James Bond spoof about a bumbling British secret agent’s (Rowan Atkinson) folly-filled efforts to find the stolen Crown Jewels. Streaming April 1

New IMDb TV Originals:

  • Moment of Truth, tells the never-before-seen story behind the murder of Michael Jordan’s father, James Jordan, as well as the rampant corruption in a rural North Carolina county, where two teenagers, Larry Demery and Daniel Green, were charged and convicted of the crime. The docu-series examines the initial case through the current re-trial attempt by Daniel Green, who maintains his innocence. Streaming April 2

  • Moneyball (2011) – Billy Beane (Brad Pitt), general manager of the Oakland A’s, one day has an epiphany: Baseball’s conventional wisdom is all wrong.   • For Colored Girls (2010) – In New York, a group of black women, most of whom live in the same Harlem apartment building, face personal crises, heartbreak and other challenges. Crystal (Kimberly Elise) faces an unhappy existence as an abused lover. Jo (Janet Jackson) is a successful magazine editor, but her husband has a secret double life. Juanita (Loretta Devine) is a relationship counselor but cannot seem to get her love life in order. These three and others become bound together by their experiences. Streaming April 1
  • G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) – In the continuing adventures of the G.I. Joe team, Duke (Channing Tatum), second-in-command Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), and the rest of the Joes (D.J.
